Methodology
How we evaluate fintech, travel and freelancer tools.
We compare products using structured criteria: fees, availability, transparency, travel usefulness, freelancer usefulness, compliance friction and risk notes.
Unknown or region-dependent fees are marked with an explicit unknown reason and source context instead of being guessed.
Scores are editorial summaries based on the criteria above. They are not personalized recommendations and should be read together with current official terms.
For cards and crypto cards, we look at custody model, KYC requirements, country support, FX and ATM assumptions, card type, mobile wallet support, official sources and backup usefulness.
For travel tools and insurance, we look for practical constraints such as cancellation terms, claim documents, device compatibility, coverage limits and whether the tool still works when a traveler loses phone access.
A higher score is not a personalized recommendation. It is a structured summary of public information, source confidence and practical fit for a defined use case.
